FFY 2013 Community Transportation Technical Assistance Program

Municipal officials in the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) area often identify transportation issues that are of concern to the community, and about which they would like to have technical advice. Each year, a team of MPO and Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) staff members meets with community officials to learn more about their concerns. Following its analysis of the problems, staff then provides advice to these officials. Collectively, this process is termed the Community Transportation Technical Assistance Program (CTTAP). 

Issues of concern to the community may include topics such as bicycle or pedestrian access, intersection bottlenecks, parking, traffic calming, and safety. In federal fiscal year 2013, MPO and MAPC staff performed CTTAP studies for the following municipalities: Everett, Milford, Reading, and Revere, which you may access via the links below.
