Re: Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Tier I Environmental Impact Statement for the Northeast Corridor
Dear Mr. Mohler:
The Regional Transportation Advisory Council is
requesting that the Boston Region MPO participate in the comment period for the
FRA scoping of the Tier I Environmental Impact Statement for the Northeast
Corridor. The FRA has extended its
public comment period to October 19, 2012.
The Advisory Council has developed a list of items that we feel are important to this MPO region, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and New England. We would like the MPO to consider the attached comments as suggestions on the scoping for the Tier I Environmental Impact Statement for the Northeast Corridor. The Advisory Council asks that the MPO submit a comment letter to the FRA that includes the Advisory Council’s ideas.
